Doesn't matter. Nazis terrified the world most. In fact, Turks have always been peaceful and tolerant people. So what are you talking about?

I don't believe you. Turks can't be that warlike. They have always been civil.

I am having hard time to understand what you are talking about. You listed the most peaceful civilizations in human history. You should've created a thread to share peaceful Turkish poets and scientists instead.

But you keep trying to portray Turks as if they were awfully warlike and uncivilized people who glorify their terrible warriors. You give Turks a bad name. Are you an Armenian or something?

look I don't want to fight with anybody. I think my people need more attention. I give information about my people. I want to help people know our history. there are a lot about roman british empire and more but turkic history need more study and respect. We had strong military, big empires but very little people talk about it. why? I know why because today history movies and stories are only about european history. eurocentretic history. they only talk about greek did this roman did that. we need to look around more. our world is not just europe.

Most Turks (sorry Seko) on these fora were talking only about Turks and Turkish empires so I guess that would make Turks turkocentric leaving the Europeans to be euro-centric. Not a big surpise, no?

Let's get serious.  Ethnicities don't matter in this forum, Ergo. One can have any opinion on history and politics regardless of his/her ethnicity. I strongly advise that you should keep away from Ad hominem reasoning in this forum. It seems that you're young enough to believe Turanist versions of history, but play nicely and kindly when you defend Turanism here.

And Please,

Please be cool and pretend to be clever when doing that.

For the record, I am 30 years old Turkish, born and raised in Istanbul.

Really? Who told you that?

The OP is unclear as to what comparison is intended, the physically strongest warriors, or could it be intended that we compare the most fearsome warriors?

Are we talking about individuals or military formations?

Depending upon which criteria is selected, the answers are many and various.

Perhaps, if the OP is still about, he could explain precisely what he means.

Without a doubt? What planet do you live on? While you are on earth, all of your statements are subject to doubt. This one deserves it more then usual.

No, just another trolling attempt to get me to argue with him, which I won't, he's not worth it.

The words "Literary Clarity" can often become an oxymoron.

It doesn't matter.  The thread was vague as toyomotor said himself but toyomotor always eats his own words.  That's why I like him.  He's so easy.  Clearly the world's top ranked warriors are according to one's opinion.  As no criteria had ever been officially introduced allow me to introduce one.  The criteria of being able to match your army of lesser quantity but higher quality over an army of higher quantity but lesser quality.  In other words the success of few against the many.  Xiang Yu's warriors takes the spot.  They are elite.  Something like 20,000 Chu warriors against 200,000 Qin warriors.  There wasn't logistics support.  Chu did not rule the dynasty and Xiang Yu made his warriors cross the Yellow River without supplies.  Mind you the Battle of Julu was not the Battle of Thermopolae.  There was no strategic command.  Just the brave against the weak.
