I am planning to write a journal on the evolution of automobiles in America. I have been reading different journals and books on the American automobiles.

I think that I should also visit some good automobile museums to gather some information and experience. I read that the Henry Ford Museum in Michigan is rich in valuable insights into the auto industry of the past.  https://www.blountsmallshipadventures.com/henry-ford-keeping-american-innovation-alive/ Seeing, the pictures, I so excited to see and experience the Golden era of the automobile industry in America.

I will be visiting there next month. Has anybody been there? How was your experience? Please share.

I have not been, but I envy you this opportunity to go. Henry Ford was a truly great American, and the single most iconic figure of the 2nd Phase (American) of the Industrial Revolution. The man was not only an ingenious engineer and industrialist, he also promoted powerful social reforms that improved the average quality of life for his people.

Enjoy the visit!

I heard it is magnificent. There are tons of exhibits and it truly documents the excellence that "golden era" had to offer. Definitely worth checking out. And I don't think tickets are too expensive. Also there is an IMAX theater in that building, and sometimes they have special shows.
