This is directed more particularly towards Graham (gcle2003, who I know lives but a short drive from it.) or to any others who have ever actually travelled to and explored this little known city.

I happen to feel that its history is mostly overlooked.

And, as well I have some opinions concerning it.

How about any of you?

Regards,

Why not direct your thread for us all? I would like to know about Sion too. Tell us what is overlooked.

Well Seko, it is almost likely that Graham has actually been there! The history of this city is very brief, since I have googled it for the last three or four years, with some very brief results.

And, as such, I have also felt that even the brief historical accounts directed to this amazing place, have, it seems to me, been somewhat buried by our currently accepted view of the past.

In short, I think the history of this place, whose name could very well be spelled as "Zion", has been overlooked by most all historians, since there might well arise some embarassing points.

But, unless someone else has a viewpoint (such as gcle2003), then I will began to interject my somewhat "strange" views?

Thanks for the response!

Ronald

Well Seko, have you ever even heard of this city?

Have you ever seen a photograph of it? Etc.?

Please don't rely upon someone like me to do it for you? Since you are probably better able to do your own research!

But, as I peruse my files, I will began to release my own sites, related to this wonderful city.

But, I will give you one clue, which is that there exists some evidence that this city was at one time the terminus for a aqueduct!

Regards,
Ronald

What a cheap cop out. Are we to look up everything you post for verification? That's no fun. Tell us your point and what you make of Sion (Zion). Otherwise don't waste our time.

Well thanks for the "cheap" welcome! It does not really belie your personna on this entire list however. Are you having a bad day?

Perhaps you should re-read my last post, since I was refining it as you were reading the predecessor post?

And, I really hope that I never really waste anyone's time!

Since I have an ego about the same size as your own, I would merely say that perhaps "anticipation" is even more exciting for some persons.

So, except for my mention of a possible "Agueduct", you might well have to anticipate the rest?

All things good, are worth waiting for!

Regards,

Ronald

Dear Seko, should not I suggest that anyone reading this particular thread do some prelim. research? Is that not good scholarship? When the information, at least that available upon the inter-net so easily accessed, then why should I not expect anyone (like you) who responds to my very first post on the subject, should not be able to do some research "on their own" to be ready to react to later posts!

Are you against this train of thought, or would you rather be "spoon fed?"

It is mostly insulting for you, with the status you have on this site, to react in such a manner!

But that is merely my opinion, and "does not reflect the opinion of the management!"

Does it?

Regards,

Ronald
