Just thought i would spread a little cheer by sharing some pretty pictures. Captures were taken on my mobile phone during the North Texas blizzard of December 24, 2009.

Taken at the height of the storm and after i got back from going into town. Looking out of the garage to the southwest, at the snow which is approaching two feet in covering the road.

Looking to the southeast from garage. Note: Fresh tire tracks from my little excursion.

Christmas day, the day after the blizzard with a clear sky and the sun being over head. This shot is looking out from my front yard. I had thought to take this picture of a pine lightly covered in snow, which i thought was rather pretty and something i may not see again for a long time considering my location. The snow cover averaged about two feet, with some locations approaching three to four feet. Snow drifts, i believe? It took over a week for all the fallen snow to have finally melted away completely!

Unusual for Texas seasonal standards, while for the northern part of the US, this can be considered a rather light dusting and for Canadians here, no real big deal. I am sure it is just a normally boring scenic day. Wink

Cheers,
Panther
