Greetings. As some of you may remember, an AllEmpires league was created a couple of years back. Members have played and left, and so we find ourselves once more in search of interested players. We have a couple of teams currently without managers, both of which can be edited to fit your preferences, or you could always start your own from scratch. We are in-between two seasons, so now is the time to enter, before real competition ensues.
The website: -
After a free registry, you may begin your search for a team. Choose to get a team in a private league, than enter the code 76502 that will take you to the AE league!
Cheers! Smile

Maybe. I was in an xperteleven league for about five seasons, and the random nature and unfairness of the game engine has put me off. But if you can tell me with confidence that it won't be a one team monopoly, I will go for it.

I'm not gonna lie: there has been one team who's been taking all the glory, but things have been shaping up in recent seasons, with closer finishers and other surprises. Here's the history:
Champion Season - DC United 9 - Panathinaikos A.O. 8 - Panathinaikos A.O. 7 - Panathinaikos A.O. 6 - Panathinaikos A.O. 5 - Panathinaikos A.O. 4 - Panathinaikos A.O. 3 - RCD Mallorca 2 - Panathinaikos A.O. 1
Season 9 - Panathinaikos A.O.
Season 8 - Panathinaikos A.O.
Season 7 - Ontario United
Season 6 - Panathinaikos A.O.
Season 5 - DC United
Season 4 - Dundela FC
Season 3 - Panathinaikos A.O.
Season 2 - RCD Mallorca
As you can see, there has been a good solid domination from Pana, but we hope bringing more players in will add to the competition and make it a little bit harder for everyone.

Don't wanna be a parade pisser here, but from my experience, if the league has teams with average ten skill players and average nine skill players, there is absolutely no point in any new team starting up. They will lose badly against the bigger teams (who they will play first due to the game engine's in-built bias towards the winner of the last season), and so will start the season with terrible form, meaning they have to play the rest of the season chasing form, spending all their money on form training, and inevitably coming bottom or near bottom. Their team will either go down in skill or negligibly go up, meaning that unless the higher skill teams deliberately don't develop their players, or try to lower their form, the gap will become wider and wider, leading to new player apathy and eventual drop out. Even if (somehow) the bigger teams couldn't develop with new teams in the league, it would take about ten or eleven seasons to catch up, which is pointless.

In short Frederick, unless the league begins with every team at the same skill level, the game's horribly poor engine will guarantee you a huge dropout, and another easy first and second for the teams that have been there from the beginning. I think you know this as well. It's hard to get rid of a team that's taken seasons to develop, but it just ain't fun for anyone else to get involved.
