I am in the "finishing stages" of my giant History of India for my website. I have become bogged down with the Princely States. I have histories for many, but would like to have the histories for others that I have been unable to find anywhere on the internet. There are others that I have "historys" for, but no list of rulers; would be nice to have those. This is a very complex situation, so if you can help - either with history(s) and or ruler lists - let me know. (Among these I am including Zamindaris, Taliks, Jagirs, etc because no-one seems to be sure which are or are not Princely States. I have a chart of ten lists of Princely States and they are each different!). I am putting together a list of what I need. It should be ready soon. Thank you.

There's a website (www.royalark.net) that has genealogies for the hereditary rulers of many of  India's former princely states, along with some biographical information. Good luck with your project. It sounds interesting.  After it's complete, maybe you could post some of it here.

Thank you but I am quite familiar with Ark. It covers 90% of the Salute States but only a few of the hundreds of Non-Salute states. I currently have over 200 pages of non-salute state histories, and more to go.
