Quote from http://www.ancient-origins.net/

The Chinese May have beaten the famous voyage by Columbus by 70 years

Could it be true?

Would this explain why some American Natives, both North and South, have distinctly Asian phenotypes?

Accepting that there was more than one migration into the Americas, could some have crossed the Beringian Land Bridge, and others arrived by sea?

The Egyptians have also got a mention recently as having had the capacity to reach North America. Could it be also true?

Quote https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/0
Zero is both a number and the numerical digit used to represent that number in numerals.

But how can it be a number, when it represents the total lack of numbers-zilch, nix, nada?

So a number must represent anything more than zero, but how do we know that?

If the Chinese "beat" Columbus, they definitely dropped the ball in publicizing it.  But, I could see them discovering it, and then deciding it was of no worth to the Middle Kingdom, the Kingdom between Heaven and (the rest of the) Earth.  That does not mean they did it.  It is like running to the top of the mountain, to touch the summit, and run down without looking at the view.  A friend has a friend who has travelled to every country in the world, (or so he says), but when my friend asked his friend about a great museum in Vienna, the guy did not know what he was talking about, probably because he just breezed right through without seeing anything.  That is like the Chinese, _if_ they made it to the New World.  Kind of misses the point of going there in the first place.
No I don't know of the genetics, but I don't think that genetics could show whether it was land bridge or treasure fleet.

Numbers includes negative numbers, imaginary numbers, irrational numbers, etc, etc, in order to have 1 and -1, you need something imbetween those two numbers, the number 0.

I don't see any problem that studying number theory wouldn't solve, have you tried studying number theory toyomotor?

1. So there's no proof that the Chinese didn't beat Columbus?

2. I wonder if DNA testing has shown a link between Native Americans and the far east, or Siberia? It is known that some Native Americans have a bit of European DNA, sort of confirms that Land Bridge theory.

3. Mentioning the Zero was a bit of fun. If zero represents nothing, then you can't see it, feel touch it etc. If I have -one apple, I'm going hungry, aren't I?Wink

Yes, I learned a bit about that many, many years ago, but it's just theory, isn't it?LOL

Quote https://answersingenesis.org/bible-characters/cain/creation-basics/

After that [when God put a mark on Cain], Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, to the east of Eden.

And later in the land of Nod, Cain took a wife and she gave birth to a son who was named Enoch.

and

Quote So, since we are “one blood” descended from Adam and Eve, the only person Cain could have married would have been a sister or a niece.

Where is Eden?

Where is Nod?

Incest from the very beginning-if you believe the Bible.

Where is New Amsterdam?  Where is Burma? It is called something else these days.  I am sure that Old Testament scholars often have learned opinions of where Nod, Eden and other places where, but there just is not a lot of evidence for solid conclusions.

Yes, all mythological creation stories involve either incest or masturbation.  Got to get it started somehow.

I don't know if there is evidence that the Chinese were here, I said that _if_ they were here they did not have much impact.  Maybe they were good environmentalists and policed their campsite for trash when they left, like we did in Boy Scouts.  Evidence is not necessarily conclusive, and it depends on interpretation.  They have sites that have been excavated that are Viking, (well, one site at least), do they have sites of Chinese settlers?  I am not talking about a single artifact which may or may not have been found at some New World location, (unless well documented found in situ), I am talking about a whole site.

Why did Monica Lewinsky keep that dress-uncleaned for ages.

Do I smell a deliberate set-up on frisky Bill?

Souvenir.  I don't think that anyone had to do any work to "set up" Bill, he kind of did that all by himself.

You must have a terrific nose to be picking up the scent 20 or so years after the event.

Or you are imagining things.  It could be true (I severely doubt it), but you are definitely not smelling things.

A dress stained with sperm, a souvenir?

No, I've known about this all along, and to me, it smells of conspiracy.

Why did she go public with such shameful revelations anyway?

If she was my daughter I'd have been mortified.

You're not old enough to know these things, maybe I'll explain it to you when you are older....<grin>

Of course, I would have to have someone explain it to me, and personally I don't want to know.

Monica got her fifteen minutes of fame.

Why was the Mason Dixon Line drawn where it was?

Why are the true southern states, such as Florida for example, not regarded as being "Southern States", although they're much further south than Virginia?

Florida was originally Spanish owned, and did not have the strong, plantation slavery tradition.  Or so I suspect.   don't know why the Mason-Dixon line was where it was.  Down South, or the Deep South tended to be the plantation slavery.  A threat to any slave deemed "uppity" was selling them "down river" to the plantation where the labor was harder.  Not to be confused with being "sent up river" which refers to Sing Sing prison in New York (upriver from NYC(?)).

Texas also did not have that strong of a slave tradition, although it was a slave state.  Border states tended not to have the plantation economy where hundreds worked farming cash crops.

But, I don't know that much about it, being more of a Westerner.

So the degree of "southerness" was dependent on the degree of slavery?

I don't think that Southern identity was or is based on slavery.  But slavery was the South's "peculiar" institution.  I am also not sure I would talk about a "degree" of slavery.
Slavery is an either/or thing.
But, in the deep South one had plantations growing cotton, or tobacco, rice or indigo, which depended on the back breaking labor of field slaves.  Suggesting the end of slavery to a plantation owner was suggesting that 99% of his net worth, and 100% of his earning potential would be erased.  On the other hand, in some areas there was not the agricultural work, and so an adult male (white or in some cases, Indian), would have one or two slaves that would take care of the house and work with the master in the fields or in his trade.
West Virginia was originally part of Virginia, but there just wasn't the slave economy there when the rest of the South succeeded from the Union, so West Virginia basically succeeded from Virginia at that time.  Of course, not all slave states succeeded, some stayed in the Union, When slaves in the (rebel) South were "set free," I don't know how the border states who stayed in the Union, did away with slavery.

1.Why is Washington City, and the US currency daubed with so much diagramatic evidence of Masonic and Literati associations?

2. Apart from the fact that some of the Founding Fathers were Fremasons-and,in those days had a close affilliation with the Literati, how deep does this go today?

3. Why are so many influental people associated with the Bilderberg Group?

4. How deeply entenched in world affairs is the Bilderberg Group and other allied organisations"?

5. What, in effect, does the Knights of Columbus do?

Why is the USA,of all countries in the world, host to many Pro White organisations like the Aryan Brotherhood, and Aryan Nation, and so many other racist organisation-inlcluding the Ku Klux Klan?

6. As they all preach racist policies, why haven't they been rounded up and charged. (Put WACOL out of memory)

7. Dies the government lack resources, or is it just scared to take them on?
